# 🔌 Connecting Your Instagram Account


### How do I connect my Instagram page to BackRoom?

Connecting your Instagram account is easy:

1. **Log into your BackRoom account.**
    
2. **Click on "Connect Instagram"** in your dashboard.
    
3. **Follow the quick authentication steps** provided by Instagram.
    
4. Once completed, your account **will automatically synchronize **(can take up to few minutes to few hours)

6. You will receive an email when everything is set-up -> Click on the link and access to your Dashboard

### Can I connect multiple Instagram accounts?

Yes, BackRoom allows you to **connect multiple Instagram accounts**. Simply click on "**Add another account**" from your dashboard. Note that each Instagram account may require its own subscription plan.

### I have trouble connecting my account, what can I do?

If you're experiencing connection issues:

* Make sure your Instagram account is set up as a **Business Account**.

* Make sure you are on a computer
    
* Verify you have **admin privileges** for the Instagram page
    
* Ensure permissions are correctly granted during the connection process

If problems persist : 

* Go to your Instagram App Profile (mobile only) -> Top right click on the 3 bars / 3 points 
* Type "Messages" in the search bar 
* Access to Messages & Responses to Stories -> Parameters 
* On Connected Tool section, turn on "Authorize access to messages" 
*
