📱 1. Convert Your Instagram Account to a Business Account

Having an Instagram Business Account is essential for connecting to BackRoom. If your account isn't yet a Business Account, follow these easy steps:

• Open Instagram and go to your profile.

• Tap the three lines (☰) at the top-right corner.

• Select Settings → Account → Switch account type → Switch to Professional account.

• Choose Business, follow the prompts, and complete the setup.

Now your Instagram account is ready for connection!

🔗 2. Granting Instagram Permissions via META

Ensuring the right permissions through META (Facebook) is necessary for BackRoom to securely analyze your data:

• Head to your connected Facebook account linked to your Instagram Business profile.

• Go to your Facebook Page Settings.

• Select Linked Accounts (Instagram).

• Verify your Instagram account is correctly linked.

• Go to Facebook Business Integrations (via Settings → Security & Login → Business Integrations).

• Find and select BackRoom, ensuring all permissions are enabled (data insights, page management, messaging permissions).

Once granted, BackRoom can securely access your insights.
