🔌 Connecting Your Instagram Account


How do I connect my Instagram page to BackRoom?


Connecting your Instagram account is easy:


  1. Log into your BackRoom account.

  1. Click on "Connect Instagram" in your dashboard.

  1. Follow the quick authentication steps provided by Instagram.

  1. Once completed, your account **will automatically synchronize **(can take up to few minutes to few hours)


  1. You will receive an email when everything is set-up -> Click on the link and access to your Dashboard

Can I connect multiple Instagram accounts?


Yes, BackRoom allows you to connect multiple Instagram accounts. Simply click on "Add another account" from your dashboard. Note that each Instagram account may require its own subscription plan.

I have trouble connecting my account, what can I do?


If you're experiencing connection issues:


  • Make sure your Instagram account is set up as a Business Account.


  • Make sure you are on a computer

  • Verify you have admin privileges for the Instagram page

  • Ensure permissions are correctly granted during the connection process


If problems persist :


  • Go to your Instagram App Profile (mobile only) -> Top right click on the 3 bars / 3 points
  • Type "Messages" in the search bar
  • Access to Messages & Responses to Stories -> Parameters
  • On Connected Tool section, turn on "Authorize access to messages"
